Morgan & Tim's Wedding: The Invitation

Ta Dah! Here is the wedding invitation I designed for my friends, Morgan and Tim. You may remember reading about their Save The Date postcard and coming soon will be a post all about the bridal shower. If you follow us on Instagram, you can catch me testing out ideas in preparation too.

I'm really excited that I was able to use one of my own photographs for the invitation! When Morgan an I were discussing inspiration for the invitations, she was certain that she wanted a woodland feel. We tossed around ideas of going with a woodgrain pattern or having trees in the background. And then, all of a sudden it hit me, "I have a super awesome photo that would work!" I pulled up my photo of the redwood trees at Hoyt Arboretum and Morgan started glowing. It was love at first sight! Everything else just came together after that. All of the paper was purchase from Paper Source Portland and the custom monogram stamp was ordered through The Stamp Maker.
